Game Design Final Evaluation

 Hey Guy! Thursday the 4th of November Game is complete (to the best of my ability) and handed in, into Think and Create and into Blackboard. I wished the threat of the monster, the sound trigger and collecting memories did work. But with the stress I have, in study and in personal life I don't think my tolerances couldn't handle it. I'm happy that my animation act one and act three is added and I love how the flow is. The act one, then fades to the game, in the cut scene it shows the end goal the end of the hallway. I'm happy how much I've learned during this process, but I didn't enjoy the fact that I do something then the code I did was some what incorrect. An example was when I made the pause screen worked then it didn't and I didn't do anything to the pause code, but to something else in the HUD. I'm sa...

2D Animation Final Evaluation

 Hey Guys! Wednesday the 3rd of November Animation is complete and handed in, into Think and Create and into Blackboard. Also placed into the game for the begin and end. Here is the link to the 2D Animation to YouTube. https://youtu.be/mpvOXrKDBEY What I think: So I'm happy that is done, and some what happy with the execution. But, for next year, will make sure that all assets are completed in the pre-production and have time for only the animation as I believe I failed on the animation part of it.  Yes the design was quite detailed and a little complicated but it wasn't too complicated to do the animation. As last semester I did say that keep it simple (design and animation) and make sure I completed the tasks that needed to be completed as soon as possible. But I think I have more of an understanding to when I need to complete certain tasks. I still like the design of the animation, very Tim Burton and I enjoyed using the nodes and Rigging. But, yeah I didn't really think...

Animation is now due tomorrow.

 Hey Guys Tuesday the 2nd of November Soooooo got 7 extra hours of extension.... Lip syncing: Head Turn: Shot 8: Eh, I wasn't too sure how to animate this, was thinking that stop motion feel. Didn't know how to do the smear as I didn't want to draw it. The rigged character didn't want to work with me so I just did this and add a smear ( Blur) node. Shot 13: Am alright with this shot, nothing to say. But wished spend more time with the animating than the drawing the assets needed for this animation. Shot 14: Ooooo, so I had an issue with the assets for the monster as it was pixelated so that's why the blur. I personally wanted it to be crisp. On top of that the Z-depth didn't want to work with me as well, so as you can tell, the photo frame just hooves. I tired to make it look like he was using his tips of his hands like he was pinching it. Shot 15: I was playing around the blur nodes and though I wanted to use the blur node here.  Shot 18: Back of the head drawn...

 Monday the 1st of November Collider issues... and Hud unloads after death.
