Turnarounds

Image
Hey Guys! Saturday the 31st of July Spent four and half hours trying to complete the turn around of Rey (Child). Having issues with the hair. Ugh, this is so annoying. I really want to do messy hair but I don't know how to do it. Asked Ruby for some guidance, just waiting for a reply. Reason why to do this turnaround so I have an understandment to how to draw him in any way he is facing, even though I've decided to draw him 3/4 view in the Game, still need to know in the Cut Scenes and in 2D animation. Will do Monster later. In basic pose. Got some help from Ruby: Ehhhhhhh!!!!! I forgot skull! I don't know why but I was trying so hard how to draw it I forgot to go to the basics and sketch out the skull. I think I'm a bit tired XD

Research into Location

Image
Hey Guys! Friday the 30th of July So today I took photos of a place that I like to use as a reference for the house in the Game and 2D Animation I'll be making this year. Like to Thank George (Stacey) and Lee for letting me take photos of their house. I tried to put in order of when things are shown This doorway would be showing a little girl (little sister) doing hand signals for help, during walking through the hallway. Big Scary Father Monster shows up and snatches the child.

Comic Book - Two panel Story

Image
Hey Guys! Tuesday the 27th of July We went though the brief and see other peoples work. We had 30 minutes to sketch out two panel comic. I decided to sketch the first two panels for my comic ideas. We then went to the Library to get inspirations for visual novels there. Will blog about the ones I picked out, also asked the Librarian there for any there that would be similar to my story, later.

Character building for 2D animation and Game Design

Image
Hey Guys! Tuesday the 27th of July During the holidays I was thinking of a different story to tell for 2D animation. Also during the holidays, I changed my major from Animation to Game Design, so I needed to think of a video game to make as well. So to keep it basic and simple in the character design would make it a lot easier, as learned from Principles. Protagonist - Child The child would be seen most/all the time during the story and the game play, so like to keep it simple, yet effective. The Child's height compared to the world is quite small, probably the size of a regular coffee.  Image from: https://depositphotos.com/2418152/stock-illustration-awareness-ribbons.html My inspiration for this character and story came from Little Nightmares and Mr Hopp's Playhouse, which are both video games. Both have the mechanics of hide and if there is sound, the enemies react and chase you until you get to a safe spot or hide before getting caught. Antagonist - Father of Child My pla...
