Seraph of the End - Research/Break Time

I watch this anime a while ago but didn’t finish it. Writing a blog for the fact it’s some sort of “research”. Also it’s still level 4, so still lockdown, so brain is a bit brain dead.

The environment is well textured and easily distinguish with the characters and creature. Yet the moving environment is well blended and mixed into the environment. The background artist are well worked.

For My Animation

With character movements, they use repetitive frames to show fear, ie, characters move from left screen to right, they would draw one or few frames to right, then back left short burst, then repeat until finish move.

Camera work, it’s interesting as they openly don’t show some characters when they are talking. Just use sound and dialogue to imply the story, than animate.

For them to draw less detail and animation on characters they do either close-mid shots or long distance shots. This will probably be handy for my short animation.
