Proposal Feedback - Day one working

 Hey Guys!
Monday the 12th of July

Front page, include for next time:

  • Information about the studio, Where to contact, the name of studio.
  • Information about the game, rating, theme, logline.
  • Best drawing/concept on the front page.

Characters:

  • Bigger picture of the concepts
  • More Poses.
  • Two page spread, one drawing, the other bio.

Wording:

  • Keep words, not close to the edge and the words same alignment.

Extra Pages:

  • Game level design on two page spread.
  • Animation of one page.
  • Some of the images loses in the background


IMPORTANT NOTE: 

Think about the end user experience for the proposal.


Feedback from myself:

I should have came in yesterday to give Morgan a hand with the design. I did notice things but was a bit scared to give feedback. Also the environment design in the background, would have asked talked to environment to somehow improve as the colours are to blended and not appealing.

Prep for White boxing, Using Pro builder.

UX/UI:

What layout the menu.

Later on the day,

So Unity isn't working so I tried figuring out what to do with my time. D'von was working on the menu, but as he said doesn't have any art/drawing skills, so I put my hand up for the background of the Menu. Here is the work done.

I don't do environment artwork, but I thought asking Environment team, would be pushing their resources. So I tried and tried, playing around with Lava and Cave aesthetics, to get this. Personally isn't too bad, do think someone else could have done better.

We were thinking about animating the lava, but don't think we have time.

Feedback from Rachel: As a drawing, Where is the viewpoint? As a menu screen, Is it to much for a backdrop?
