A Tale of Momentum and Inertia, 1min and 10sec short story, a rock giant is moving big rocks, one of the rocks start rolling down the hill towards a town, the giant tries and stops the rock, he succeeds after trying multiple times, but by stopping the rock he stops he lightly touches the church and it crumbles. The town starts attacking but doesn't effect the giant, the giant not happy, let goes of the rock and crushes the town.

Conflict:

Cat vs Kynn/Kynn Demon

How they change:

Not too sure... will confirm later when making the finalize story.

3 Act:

Unsure how to write the 3 act but the ideas are:

Story idea 1:

Kynn having issue to make something, she about to quit then cat stops her, she continues/begins work.

Story idea 2:

Kynn's demon is about to effect Kynn (stop her from working/studying), but the cat stops it and it goes away, Kynn doesn't know what was about to happen, the cat sits with Kynn.

Step Outline

(Story Idea)

Opening Scene:

There is a small study room, filled with a lot of creative items and drawings, at the opposite end of the room there is a desk with a person working on a digital drawing. A cat sleeping in a cubbyhole underneath drawing books. 

Act One: 

Person gets annoyed by drawing a mistake, grunts loudly, accidently waking up the cat. Cat perks up, the person apologies to the cat for waking them up, pats the cats head, goes back to work and puts on headphones. The cat is about to go back to sleep, but notice something is off behind the person. The cat plops down off the desk and sits down on a mat, surveilling the area, ears back. The cat doesn't see anything else and turns around to jump back onto the table. A shadow being appears behind the cat menceing, smirking. 

Act Two:

The cat swings back around with paw claws out. The being darts back. The being and cat, eye to eye, ready for one to make a move first. The being looks at the desktop tower, the cat notices the being planning to sabotage the desktop. The cat prowls towards the desktop to distract the being, the being dashes towards the desktop. The fight takes place. The shadow goes in and out of 3 dimensions, jumping from walls to floor to air. The cat chases the being, still trying to keep in between of the desktop/the person and the being. The person is oblivious to what's happening, listening to music.

Act Three: 

The cat finally gets hold of being, by holding it by their teeth with the beings tail. Flinging it into the wardrobe. The cat then gives a warning growl and hiss to never come back. Door of wardrobe shuts. The posture of the cat goes from threat to please, jumps back onto the table, rubs the person and goes back to sleep in cubbyhole. The person is not aware of what just happened behind them.

Will have to think about how the fight goes, maybe look into how a cat fights, chase off predators and/or protects family/love ones.

Traci suggests to improve the description in the scene, i.e. the visual of the room, what the cat, the person and shadow look like. Change Act three and add Finalize scene, like shown below.

Act Three:

Finalize Scene: 

The posture of the cat goes from threat to please, jumps back onto the table, rubs the person and goes back to sleep in cubbyhole. The person is not aware of what just happened behind them

Describe the tension between the cat and the shadow, whos winning? Does it look like the cat isn't going to win. Also possible have a scene showing the person listening to music with the fight happening in the background.
