Experimenting on Toon Boom Harmony

Today is Tuesday the 2nd of March 2021

Today Ruby is our tutor to teach us the principle of animation, going through the 'brief', showing animation from previous years and toon boom harmony animations.

Before classes start I already had an idea what I'm going to do, but Ruby informed us that two legged character would be easier to do, so instead of PikaCat that I was planning to do I'll be doing myself.

When actually doing my character design I will draw my own texture for copy right reasons.

We also did a basic dot animation, my first thought was a laser pointer as my 'first'/introduction video on YouTube I am planning to PikaCat chasing a dot in the background while myself is setting up the recording. Even though I planned to do a red dot, as cats scientifically are more invested in red fast things.

I will show my previous designs of myself and PikaCat below. Also last year I did rigging in animation paper, so I tried to use those techniques to create myself and PikaCat, (which I don't know if needed as we might be doing frame by frame drawing, instead of computer filling the in-betweens).
