Day one of Storyboarding - Documentation and Beginning storyboarding
Hey Guys!Today is Wednesday the 3rd of March 2021
Key:
Short Cuts
Reminder Note
Fabulous Traci is our tutor for teaching us Storyboarding, but first today is Documentation. Learning about Blogger, something the certificates did last year.
Notes to make a 'good' blogger for study:
- Ideally one post per week
- Try not to cross subjects.
- Label each post by the unit number (screenshot shown to the right)
- Pictures - you done, what about to do, inspirations from other things, extras. (To take a screenshot = Windows key + Shift + S)
What to write about:
- Proposal Work - assessment due in week 6. Show ideas as to develop the blog.
- Influences and Inspiration - what movies/games/animation you've seen that inspire you.
- Techniques and Materials - what you learn, what software, was it easy/hard, boring/exciting
- Reflective Writing - what do you think about what you're doing and what to do next.
- Body of Work in progress - Final assessment due in week 17, show you ideas as they develop in the blog.
Ethical Behavior Online:
Ethical Values as define in 1992 by the Computer Ethics Institute; a non-profit organization.
- Thou shall not use computer to harm other.
- Thou shall not interfere with other people's computer work. (Quick Lock = Windows Key + L)
- Thou shall not snoop around in other people's computer files.
- Thou shall not use a computer to steal.
- Thou shall not use a computer to bear false information.
- Thou shall not copy or use propriety software for which is not paid.
- Thou shall not use other people's computer resources without authorization or proper compensation.
- Thou shall not appropriate other's intellectual output.
- Thou shall think about the social consequences of the program you are writing or the system you are designing.
- Thou shall always use a computer in ways that ensure consideration and request for your fellow humans.
Reminder Note: Will talk to Rachel and Patrick about fan-art and copyright, within SIT assessments. For the reason for my idea for storyboarding.
Traci made a presentation which I saved to my drive to keep going back to it, and is shown below so I remember it. This presentation reminds me through the time through Bootcamp.
I majorly prefer thriller, minor categories are, fantasy, mystery, (sub-genre) dystopian and kind of drama genres.
Trailer doesn't work this way, and will not be doing a trailer.
Examples of Conflict for Story: (in order of conflict on presentation)
- Ironman vs Captain America
- The Happening
- Terminator
- Split
- Joker
- Kung Fu Panda (Po being the Dragon Warrior)
My story will either be, conflict character verses society or self.
