Final Blog post for principles

 Hey Guys! Monday the 21st of June Assessment 2, project, was extended to today at 5pm, yet still I ran out of time to complete all five works. I completed walk, run, idle and head turn. Not the jump unfortunately. What I would de better for next time, and if I would do principles again would PICK A SIMPLEIER DESIGN! Also do the work at the time in class, ie when we finish in class the walk, I would have finish my walk cycle. On top of that would do a much simpler idle and head turn animation, as that took most of my time (yet I did change the idle last minute for the fact of that). What I'm glad though was the experience of do this, even though I regret this character design, I've learned more than likely have less shapes and extra bits. The sleeves were difficult to keep proportion and the hair tuff was annoying to make right physic wise. But I'm glad I didn't have shoes. But I'm happy with the idle/pose-to-pose, the walk and the idea of the jump. The run and head...

Complete Animatic

 Hey Guys! Sunday the 20th of June! Hand in day for Storyboard, Assessment 2. Done the audio today, finalized credits and PDF. I'll add a new link to the PDF below. Update PDF Here is the Finish Animatic. Critque: So I'm not happy with the audio, as I didn't really think too much about it. Was unsure how to audio well to give the effect I wanted, then again I didn't know what effect I wanted. Visually, think it was good for first YouTube Pika's story. Will need to look into how to do better animatics, like use blurs and movement more for effects and emotion in the story. That with audio, as I'm not too happy with it. So tired now, but at least its done.

Storyboard - Crashes

 Hey Guys! Between 11th of June to Now Been having Toon Boom Storyboard program crashes, no warning, no reason (so far), just continuous crashes which is so freaking frustrating!!!!!!!! Wednesday I tried working on Storyboard but 17 times crashing, with Help deck looking at it while I wait for them to figure it out, I kinda gave it that day. Friday went back to it... It is still crashing even with head guy of Help deck to fix it. Other people open up the program no crashes, or lack of crashes, then I open it do work, crash. Its gotten to the point where I delete my sound and audio to just finish the artwork....Still it crashes. Waiting for Rachel Mann to reply to my message to see what she can do with it. I'm seriously getting sick of this. Plan B is to finish the drawings and export it to Adobe Premiere Pro to add the sound and dialogue.

Drawing assessment 2 Complete

 Hey Guys! Friday 18th of June - Assessments due These are the eight artworks for this assessment, I'm happy for these to be my works for assessment. All I would say about them though is that I should have spend more time out of class to finish them, ie colour and shade the digital drawings. The Junicorn is the most recent one and I'm happy even though its a body shape of a horse and I dont really like drawing horses. ( I would say its a horse with a horn on it, but Chris is marking these Blogs and apparently I'm wrong with this, Unicorn and horses aren't the same.) Junicorn is a June plus Unicorn, as we are in the southern hemisphere, I thought about winter solstice. Black beauty, with white hooves and snow falling on the body. The dead vines crawling around it with ice fire mane. White eye is on propose.  The drawing to the right is where I got the inspiration of the pose and toning.

Principles - Work done so far

15th June  The head phones aren't consistent... but its done. For now. 17th of June  Edited it and make person bigger too: The Bun is smooth... But bed time Saturday the 19th of June So, cause I'm running out of time I changed my idle and pose to to this instead as it was easier for me to get done with the amount of time I have.

Whoops... Haven't update in a while

 Hey Guys! Thursday the 10th of June Haven't update in awhile for the fact I want to finish in time and I'm running a bit out of time. Here is quick update: Done Update Profile Picture for YouTube Channel Working on Title Page Tidy up the thumbnail of the animation: And working on the book As the title page is still in progress I just added the rough for now to see what it'll going to look. On Author Comments I'm going to take a photo of myself at my study deck at home and draw my avatar half of my face. Synopsis... I have no clue what to write will ask Chris on Discord. Character evolution page is done. Final Character Design pages are done. World Building page, just need photo of my desk for the Real World/May Study Room. Story Thumbnails page is done. To the left of  Shor Mock-Ups will be a page of pages of my ideas for the channel (ie filler page) Shot Mock-Up page, need to add link for the walk through of the Studyroom to the Hashtag. Skeleton Jump and Update/Plan

 Hey Guys! Tuesday the 8th of June Done skeleton of jump. Tried to keep it as simple and my character as possible. Notes above is the facial expression. During the refences footage, I was so anxious doing the jump onto the chair, so that why nervous face. Also Ruby said it look like she is doing this in front of camera, so yay! Plan for this week is the line art and fix walk, ran, jump and head turn. Was thinking of the idle first but I think finishing things that are nearly done first would be better. By mid next week, line idling and colour everything else. Last would be shading. I added headphones, less stiffen the arms, butt curve and made legs longer. I'll make the whole drawing bigger to fit the screen better. I've decided not to change the run as its a lot of work for something not completely needed. The run as it is, yes look off, ie unnatural, but I really don't have time nor energy to draw it 'proper'. I like fix the arm, so doesn't look jittery. I...

Animations to complete for Assessment 2

 Hey Guys! Thursday the 3rd of June This post is for me to see all the animations need for assessment 2, to see the constancy and how much work I need to complete, time out for my timetable (when shall I finish each work before due date of 17th of June). GIF Work Walk: Need to do: Resize the legs. Add headphones to frames. Butt Curve Make the arms less stiff when apex of turn. Run: Need to do: Think about the mouth. Fix stick out arm. Maybe change arms? Pose to Pose, Idling: Need to do: Timing with the foot. Add tablet. Rough outline. Jump is in progress of skeleton Videos Head turn and lip sync: Need to do: Resize the arm thickness. Clean rough lines.
